Much fun was had this weekend In Savannah. I had the honor of DJing Voltaire’s Black Unicorn Cabaret. Featuring the likes of Hellblinki, This Way to the Egress, and none other than Voltaire himself. We had the added bonus of performances by Promethium (Augusta, Ga) and Queen April (Asheville, N.C.). I met a lot of really cool people and look forward to coming back to Savannah again sometime. Here’s my setlist from the event.

A while back my friends Terry and Chrissy asked me to put together a “circus” type mix. Additionally, recently I was asked to DJ the “Voltaire’s Black Unicorn Cabaret” Sept. 30th in Savannah. Needless to say this mix needed to happen.
In summary I guess you could call the mix “Dark Cabaret” but it is a mixture of many things including electro-swing, circus-gypsy, tribal and even a little Gothy EBM. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Thanks to everyone involved for an excellent Atmosphere event last Saturday. This event was our biggest one yet and was a great way to ring in our 1 year anniversary. It’s success affirms that the work that the Dark Augusta crew does is appreciated.
The next Atmosphere event is Scheduled for either September 10 or October 8. It will feature DJ Ghost of Atlanta’s “Dark Industry” event at the Shelter in Atlanta and a new Augusta DJ: IO. DJ IO’s musical taste has always amazed me and I look forward to experiencing what she will bring to Atmsophere. Stay tuned for a date announcement soon!
I have uploaded the live recording from Atmosphere VII. It is in 4 parts (sorry there is no setlist):
