Now that my Halloween gigs are thru I have finally found the time to finish up the Atmosphere recordings from earlier this month. I mainly just needed to edit out some of my microphone announcements and some power outages that occurred during the event. This event featured DJs IO and Queen April. The next Atmosphere event is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th at Le Chat Noir.

During the first part of the evening , while z-camp training occurred, I played a wonderful collection of spooky Halloween tunes for the bar area. (See pics below)
Later we converted part of the z-camp maze area into a dance floor and rocked some dance music. This is a recording of the later “dance” portion of the Black Cat Ball.

Thanks to everyone involved for an excellent Atmosphere event last Saturday. This event was our biggest one yet and was a great way to ring in our 1 year anniversary. It’s success affirms that the work that the Dark Augusta crew does is appreciated.
The next Atmosphere event is Scheduled for either September 10 or October 8. It will feature DJ Ghost of Atlanta’s “Dark Industry” event at the Shelter in Atlanta and a new Augusta DJ: IO. DJ IO’s musical taste has always amazed me and I look forward to experiencing what she will bring to Atmsophere. Stay tuned for a date announcement soon!

The first Underworld event was a success. The lovely Le Chat Noir was filled with electronic beats, lasers, effect smoke and the blur of fast moving glow sticks!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the last Atmosphere event this weekend. It was one of the best ones sofar. Thanks to some extra equipment that DJ Shrapnel brought we have a live recording of the night (minus my microphone babblings). The next event is scheduled for March 26th 2011.
